Sven and I have yet to name our RV. I've been told that we must name the unit. Any suggestions are welcomed. We have a 1979 GMC 'Shamrock', 350 cu with 59,000 kilometers on the odometer. It's trimmed in various stylish shades of green.
Twenty four feet over-all length, lovingly maintained with new radiator and tires. It comes complete with air conditioning, heating, shower, stove, fridge and sound system. Home away from home indeed.
I'm moving my gear on Thursday, returning the car to Victoria, then returning to Delta on Saturday and off we go to points East.
Thanks for all the well wishes and advice ( I like the one about putting a couple tins of 'chew' (chewing tobacco) on the dashboard to deter would be auto thieves. Apparently such folk don't want to tangle with fellow red-necks and 'chew' seems to be a universal sign of such leanings. Sort of like cougars leaving scat or bears rubbing up against their favourite marking tree.
Congratulations on your first post and your upcoming trip! I look forward to seeing and reading about what you discover on the road and am always here (digitally at least!) if you need anything!
